Wonderfully comfortable
Our Figuier gîte for 6 people is located on the west side of our large early 20th century farmhouse. With a living area of 90 m2, a large terrace of 40 m2 and stylish interior design, it is a luxurious and wonderfully comfortable holiday home.
The beautiful, bright living room has doors that open onto the terrace and is equipped with 2 sofas that invite you to relax. The kitchen is equipped as at home: a large gaz cooker with oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, full inventory, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. There is a large wooden dining table for 6 people.
The gîte is furnished with natural materials such as wood, exposed stone walls, wrought iron and antiques details with a nod to Art Nouveau.
Super soft beds and an 'antique' bath
In the spacious master bedroom there is a beautiful hotel quality box spring bed (180 x 200 cm). It has space for a baby bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a free-standing bathtub and a large washbasin. The gite has 2 separate toilets.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one of which has box-spring beds that can be pushed together to create a second double bed of 160 x 200 cm. The other bedroom has two single beds of 90 x 200 cm.
The positioning of the gîte, the thick exterior walls and the shutters keep the gîte relatively cool. For your comfort, the entire gîte is equipped with reversible air conditioning. You can thus be assured that, even on very hot days, the whole family will have a good night's sleep. As the air conditioning can also be used as heating, the gîte is also very suitable for a holiday or longer stay in spring or autumn.
Summer life on the terrace
On the spacious terrace you will find a large table with 6 chairs, a lounge, 2 comfortable chairs and a Weber barbecue. And of course .... a magnificent view of the hills, the village of Lapenne with its characteristic bell tower and the most beautiful sunsets!
We offer a free and unlimited WiFi connection of good quality. It is a conscious decision not to offer television in order to be able to completely leave the rhythm of everyday life behind.
