La Grange

From French storage barn to super cosy place

In the summer of 2025, we opened La Grange for the first time. And what a success it was! For years, this traditional French barn served only as storage, but thanks to Rendal’s careful renovation, this distinctive building — visible from the road as you arrive — has been completely transformed. The roof and upper floor were renewed, while all the authentic features were preserved.The result? A warm, inviting space where everyone instantly feels at home.

A cosy indoor space for cool evenings or a summer storm

Inside La Grange, you’ll find a charming bar, long solid tables and sturdy benches. It’s the perfect place to share a meal, enjoy a drink or play a game when the evenings are a little cooler in spring or autumn.
On hot days, it’s also the ideal shelter during a summer thunderstorm. The entire front is open, so you still get that wonderful outdoor feeling. And in summer, the space stays surprisingly cool — great for parents and teenagers looking for a break from the heat.

Fun and games for children, teens and parents

Families with kids and teenagers quickly discover La Grange. A large wooden cabinet is filled with board games and puzzles. Every week, we try to complete a big puzzle together with our guests — relaxed, addictive and always with the finale on Friday, just before the barbecue!
Teenagers meet here for ping pong, darts or a competitive round of Dutch shuffleboard.
The ping pong table is on the mezzanine, so now and then you’ll sprint downstairs to chase a runaway ball. But that’s all part of an active holiday!

Relax, unwind and take time for yourself

Beyond the activities, La Grange is also a wonderful place to chill. Sink into the comfy sofa with a book, some music, or simply enjoy doing nothing at all.
For extra relaxation, there’s a quiet corner with a massage table where our masseur Pedro offers wonderful relaxation massages (booking recommended). He can also visit your accommodation for an in-house massage.
During massages, La Grange is temporarily closed to other guests.

Perfect for groups and special occasions

Family gatherings, reunions, weddings, sports trips, club weekends
La Grange is also an excellent venue for groups. In spring and autumn, you can even rent the entire domaine, giving you exclusive access to La Grange for meals, drinks, workshops or presentations.
