Domaine du Cammazet is a wonderful place to spend holidays as a couple, as a family and why not alone. Our private driveway is long so there is no traffic near. That means that it's quiet but also that children can play outside without worries. Privileged moments without TV and the iPad. Play in the pool, play soccer in a field, swing or jump on the trampoline. Or do a little pétanque competition with the parents?
Exploring the estate and building huts with your sibling or holiday buddies is perhaps even more exciting. Meet our rooster and our chickens and our friendly farmer Eric's horses. Once a week we collect firewood together and make a big campfire. If you have a musical instrument to play near the fire, definitely don't leave it at home.
If the weather is a little less favorable then we have plenty of games at the reception that you can borrow to play together or with the family. When do you have the opportunity to do this in your daily life?
There is also plenty for adults to do. If you feel like it ... Our 10x5m swimming pool is spacious enough to swim a few laps or simply to cool off, relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Or cross the fields to the magnificent old oak tree and enjoy the unique view of the Bison Park. In this location you can even touch the bisons, but to be sure we don't recommend it.
Our fruit trees are full of cherries in the spring. Figs and plums are available in August. Do you help with the picking and tasting?
From our area you can take beautiful walks or if you are athletic, run or cycle. The terrain is hilly but sometimes there are places a little more sporty.
We have 2 beautiful natural parks just a 5 minute drive away; The Ferme aux Bisons and the Parc aux Bambous. But you can also walk there in less than an hour and enjoy a delicious meal at both places. In addition to a small menu, the Ferme aux Bisons also serves delicious bison steaks. The bamboo park of our friends Ifa and Didier has a small Indonesian restaurant where you can have a delicious lunch. We are happy to make a reservation for you. In high season, we walk once a week from our domaine to the Parc aux Bambous. After lunch you will explore the park on your own and then come back the same way. When you return to the domaine, our swimming pool and terrace awaits you to refresh you.
