We love nothing more than making sure every guest has an unforgettable holiday at Domaine du Cammazet. That’s why we work with a reservation request rather than instant booking. This way, we can look at the make-up of your family and ensure everyone — young and old — enjoys a truly relaxing stay.
LOW & SHOULDER SEASON
The months of May, June, early July and late August through September are perfect for families with young children who aren’t yet at school, but also for couples or guests travelling without children. During these weeks, it’s often pleasantly warm without being too hot, extra peaceful and we can adjust table d’hôte mealtimes to suit little ones — or serve later if they’re already asleep.
HIGH SEASON
As we are a small-scale domaine welcoming just five families at a time, we’ve noticed that in high season it’s nicest when children’s ages are fairly close. This way, they’re more likely to play happily together and make new friends.
In peak season, from mid-July to mid-August, most children are six years or older.
From 25 July to 8 August, we prefer to host families with at least one child aged 12 or older.
Up until 18 July and after 22 August, children of all ages are very welcome.
Of course, children almost always find each other naturally — so it’s not a strict rule or guarantee. We’re always happy to discuss what works best so everyone has a lovely holiday!
EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT
Book before 1 October 2025 and receive a €100 discount on a two-week stay between 18 July and 22 August. After this date, if there’s still availability, you can of course book for just one week — and you’ll still have plenty of time to plan something else if needed.
You can already book a one-week stay for dates before 18 July and after 22 August!
TRAVELLING WITH FRIENDS
As lovely as it can be, we’ve found that guests travelling with friends or extended family sometimes connect less with other guests. For this reason, we prefer not to accept group bookings during high season.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS
It’s also possible to book the entire domaine for a special occasion, such as a wedding, party or family reunion. Just send us an email so we can discuss the options with you!
HOW IT WORKS
Send us your reservation request with your dates and preferred accommodation, and include the names, ages and whether each child is a boy or girl.
We’ll check if your preferred dates and accommodation are available and get back to you as soon as possible. Let us know if you’re flexible with your dates or accommodation type — if your first choice isn’t available, we’ll be happy to look for alternatives together.
In July and August, arrival and departure are always on Saturdays. Outside the high season, you’re free to arrive and leave on other days too.
